FFXIII: The countdown is over, new trailer arrives

Well, this is slow, I'm writing this days after the countdown on the official Final Fantasy XIII so it's probably not news anymore.
but like I'd care. here are the new trailers

The three version are the same, except the US/Europe version gets an English subtitles.

The new trailers gives you more looks at the battle system and other in-game graphics, rather impressive actually, wonder if I could choose between going full ATB, partial ATP, and WTB system? I like WTB, I like taking my time to think.

PSP gets 4 new colour to be covered in thick layer of dust.

These four new PSP colour schemes dubbed 'carnival colors' will be released on March 5th in Japan for ¥19,800 or ¥24,800 for the 4GB MS PRO Dup Mk.2, a psp pouch, wrist strap, and cleaning cloth bundle.

But with the looks of current game releases, (or lack of), these new PSP will have to make friends with dust mites and bed bugs until something big comes along.

Being a non-US citizen, I don't really care much about the presidency itself, but it'll be interesting to see how powers arpound the world will react to this, we've seen a 'shifting balance' of power in many countries world-wide, with the Bush administration coming to an end. Thailand also has a shifting polarity of power recently, all will be quite interesting, it's time to sit back and watch the whole world change.

Thrustmaster run'n'drive

Bought this yesterday. Works great for driving games. Have yet to try it on other genre. A bit too small for my hands though and the buttons are a bit too stiff. The face buttons are placed too close together and are too noisy. A 7 out of 10

New FFXIII Famitsu scans, new info + Hi-Res Renders with alpha channel!

And some new hi-res render for you photoshoppers out there^^, comes complete with alpha channel (transparency) for ease of use!




New information includes

- All of the gameplay screenshots in the scans are real time.
- Attack categories available for Lightning in the beginning of the game are technique, white magic, and black magic. They also think the commands change depending on the weapon equipped.
- Party members' names, HPs, and ATB gauges are displayed at the bottom right. The yellow flag-like symbol under a name indicates the character's turn.
- Snow's gameplay was shown in the JF '09 trailer. He was seen in a party of three, and when Snow launched an enemy into the air, the other two party members additionally attacked the enemy midair. They think the command actions vary depending on the number of people in the party.
- The armor guy is among Officer rank in the government, and has authority over the PSICOM soldiers.
- Snow got his l'Cie marking on his left arm when he saw the "vision" with Lightning and Vanille.
- Gewalt hounds are created by the government, yet they have will like a normal animal.

FFXIII @ JumpFESTA - ClosedMega Theartre brings a collective sighs.

Again, this year, SquareEnix will be making presence in the annual JumpFESTA event in Japan with their (much loathed by us unfortunates) Mega Closed Theatre. The main event will, of course, be the premiere of a brand new 7-minutes long Final Fantasy XIII trailers featuring new Characters and facts.

Trailer Details:

shoulder length hair, tied back. Tattoo on her right shoulder, wears an
outfit comprised of purple, white and yellow.

ASTV's "Roo Tan Prated Thai" Co-Host tells of his near-death experience during Santika fire tragedy.

Santisook Marongsri (I'm pretty sure I got the spelling wrong there somewhere:P),  co-host of the show "Roo Tan Prated Thai" with Jermsak Pintong, was also one of the people who got caught up in the recent New Year's fire tragedy at Santika nightclub.
According to mister Santisook, it was during the performance of a band called "Burn" where 'effects' (Paper Shoots, according to DJ.Poomchai) were shot up to the ceiling that the fire started, then quickly spreads all over. He says "people panicked as everybody was trying to make their way out and it only got worse when the electricity went out." during the time, mr.Santisook fled to the restroom to escape from the heat and smoke before making his way out in total darkness, holding his breath and feeling his way through unconcious bodies of the victims of the fire.




Mr.Jermsak also added that everybody who got caught in the accident can sue the club's owner for compensation just as he had done earlier last year with the Makorn Srithammarach Airport case.
